Join award winning playwright Caleb Lewis (Destroyer of Worlds) & writer/performer Phil Spencer (You And Whose Army?, Bluey) for a two-day creative workshop on devising autobiographical performance work.
A hands-on workshop aimed at playwrights, theatre-makers and other narcissists. Combining discussion, examples from other writers and a series of set exercises, over two days we’ll examine The Author as Subject; Mining Your Memories, Verbatim Theatre Techniques; The Use and Abuse of Comedy, Creative Dissonance, (Re)Writing Your Story; and lastly the Ethics of Storytelling. This two-day intensive will be part practical, part theoretical and entirely personal.
