How to use the FFT and Matlab’s pwelch function for signal
I have been searching for an easy way to draw the x and y axis on a plot but cannot seem to do it. For example, if I have a plot that has range [-2 10] for x and [-200 400] for y, I would like to be able to draw a line along x = 0 and y = 0.... As you can see it takes the different ratings and turns each into a number from 0-100 with closer to 100 being best. I understand to normalize you take average and the Standard deviation but in Excel I don't know how to convert it to that nice pretty number at the end to compare different value sets.

Thresholding is the simplest method of image segmentation and the most common way to convert a grayscale image to a binary image. In thresholding, we select a threshold value and then all the gray level value which is below the selected threshold value is classified as 0(black i.e background ) and all the gray level which is equal to or greater... Another thing that changed starting in the R2014b version is that the hold on and hold off automatically cycles through the colors. y=3*sin(x); xp=[0:pi/2:10]; yp=3*sin(xp); x1 = linspace(-10,-0.1); x2=linspace(0.1,10); y1=1./x1; y2=1./x2; plot(x,y) hold on ax = gca; ax.ColorOrderIndex = 1; plot(xp,yp, '*') plot(x1,y1) ax.ColorOrderIndex = 2; plot(x2,y2) hold off axis equal. As you may see

You will also learn how to read in two dimensional or three dimensional data from a netCDF file, and make color-shaded maps from it, with coast outlines added. All the data we use in this course will be either in text or netCDF form. netCDF is widely used

I'm just doing raster plots but this question applies to any MATLAB figure. I can manually resize it using the figure directly when it's created but I want the program to spit it out in the right size to start with. matlab matlab-figure. share improve this question. edited Feb

I am plotting several 2D-profiles one after another with the same Matlab-script by just changing the input files. The x-axis displays the profile meter, e.g. goes from 0m to 100m and the y-axis the depth.
- Changing these properties affects the scale of the x-, y-, or z-dimension as well as the placement of labels and tick marks on the axis. The default values for these properties are [0 1]. The default values for these properties are [0 1].
- ylabel(txt) labels the y-axis of the current axes or chart returned by the gca command. Reissuing the ylabel command causes the new label to replace the old label. ylabel( target , txt ) adds the label to the axes or chart specified by target .
- For example, if you put two different columns on the Y-axis (for example, Oil Production and BNP), you can use the "(Column Names)" option to color by and click this radio button to display one scale for Oil Production and one for BNP.
