Three weeks on – three weeks off is a phrase 10 year old Freya Stanley lives by. It’s Christmas, and Freya waits impatiently with her Nana for Dad to come home for three weeks of quality time. Or so she thought. Like any normal 10 year old girl with a wild imagination and a passion for Pictionary, Pig Latin and 80′s slasher movies, Freya hatches a plan to do whatever it takes to keep her family together. Boxing Day is a family story with humour and heart, capturing the imagination and magic of youth for an adult audience.
